Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

You are invited to this architectural icon. You have probably seen photos of Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands hotel. This is one of the most iconic hotels in Asia, if it not the entire world.

This is a stunning architectural marvel in the heart Singapore. You will be captivated as you explore the city.

What’s it like inside? Here is my experience at Marina Bay Sands Singapore.

The Hotel

This is almost a city within itself. The Marina Bay Sands is home to the largest rooftop infinity pool in the world, 2,561 hotel rooms and a 1,300,000. square-foot convention center. There are also shops, a museum, two theatres, an atrium casino, and many other exhibits.

The SkyPark is a world-famous swimming pool located at the top of three 55-story towers in this 5-star hotel. You can enjoy 360-degree views over Singapore from the Marina Bay Sands.

The Rooms

Marina Bay Sands offers many room options that offer views of the skyline and gardens, as well as the harbor. For couples who want a quiet space to spend the night, the Premier Room and Deluxe Room are great choices. The Family Room is ideal for groups or families who wish to travel together.

The hotel offers Club Rooms as well as different suites on the top floors. There are also a variety of VIP upgrades. Upgraded room or suite guests get complimentary afternoon tea, cocktails and canapes from Club55, as well as free breakfast at one the celebrity chef restaurants on-site.

The Marina Bay Sands’ crown jewel is the infinity pool. The Sands SkyPark is a 57-foot high observation deck that offers stunning views of Singapore from all directions.

You can also swim to the edge or relax in the jacuzzi from the top. You can relax and enjoy a cocktail on the lounge chairs located under the shade of palm trees if you’re not ready to swim.

You can also get poolside drinks or light snacks throughout the day.

You can enjoy the rooftop experience from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. I highly recommend it. To see central Singapore at its best, you should get up there either for sunrise or sunset.

Notable: Only registered hotel guests have access to the Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool. Reserve a room to see this iconic attraction for yourself.

Food + Drink

There are more than 80 restaurants in the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Although it’s difficult to go into every detail, I know there is something for everyone in the diverse culinary offerings.

Marina Bay Sands was closed to me so I can’t recommend it. There are many well-reviewed options available.

There is everything, from a DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe to romantic rooftop Italian restaurants. The eateries offer fusion dishes that combine flavors from different cultures and plates by top celebrity chefs.

Marina Bay Sands Singapore is a mix of a shopping mall, a casino, and – in Singapore – primarily – a hotel. There are plenty of activities to choose from while you’re here.

Shop till you drop at a variety of luxury, international and new concept shops. See the full list of concerts and shows that take place throughout the year.

You can also walk to the Supertree Groves or Cloud Forest from the hotel, which is right next to Gardens by the Bay.

For a truly unique artistic experience, visit the Digital Light Canvas. Don’t miss the Spectra Light & Water Show, which plays every night!

In My Opinion

Marina Bay Sands felt like a huge hotel. It reminded me of the Las Vegas Strip. I only stayed in the Deluxe Room, and it was very basic. Despite this, I was unable to visit any restaurants, shops, or other amenities. My most memorable part of my stay was the view from the swimming pool.
